🧭 Our Mission 🧭
We believe everyone's journey is unique — and deserves to be honored, not managed. At Sinclairity Press, we create elegant, purpose-driven planners, journals, workbooks, and books designed to empower women as they navigate life's complexities and pursue their personal aspirations. We're more than a publishing company. We're your companion in self-discovery, offering products that support your unique journey with structure, flexibility, and grace.
🌱 Behind Everything We Make 🌱
- We believe in small steps over giant leaps.
- We believe in following the tasks that lead to the goal — not grinding toward some impossible finish line.
- We believe in rest. In pivoting. In starting over as many times as you need to.
- We believe mature women are owed space to figure out who they're becoming — not who they were supposed to be.
- We believe in unconditional, judgment-free kindness. Even when it's hard. Especially when it's hard.
And we believe every product we create should feel like permission to breathe.
Meet the Founder
I'm Margaret, and I never meant to start a company.
As I approached midlife, I found myself feeling distracted and aimless. I was navigating a new chapter in my career — one that felt equal parts terrifying and miraculous. I was learning on the fly, holding my breath half the time, and trying to figure out who I was becoming in the process. I felt scared, grateful, and overwhelmed all at once.
I looked to day planners, notebooks, mindfulness journals, and goal planners to help me organize my thoughts and be more productive. I tried notebooks, and planner after planner. Popular ones. Highly-rated ones. Each had pieces I liked, but none of them fit.
Some were too rigid. Some assumed I'd show up perfectly every single day. When I didn't show up perfectly? I felt like I'd failed — again.
And honestly? They felt like they were made for someone younger. Someone at an earlier stage. At 40, I felt reminded of how "late" I was starting.
I was Frustrated with the existing market of planners and journals that failed to meet my unique needs, I used my background in layout and printing to craft my own goal planner — blending motivation with functionality.
I needed smaller goals broken into tiny chunks, so even 1% progress felt like a win. I needed structure — but also flexibility, because life doesn't care about your to-do list. I needed motivation that didn't feel fake. And most of all I needed to give myself grace throughout my journey.
So I made my own.
I made one copy just for myself.
Then a friend asked for one. Then her coworkers wanted copies. What started as a personal project quickly evolved into a highly sought-after planning tool among friends and family. Word spread. And eventually, it became a blossoming business.
✊🏾 Why This Work Matters ✊🏾
Here's the truth:
Life is complicated for everyone. But for Black women—especially those of us navigating midlife—the complications are layered.
We're managing microaggressions at work, health inequities that make us invisible to the medical system, imposter syndrome that makes us question our own expertise, and the constant weight of simply existing in spaces that weren't built for us. Add gender oppression and ageism to the mix, and suddenly the tools that work for "everyone" don't work for us at all.
We're not just deserving of better tools. We're owed them.
This is why Sinclairity Press exists. Not as a favor. Not as representation for representation's sake. But as a response to a real need that has been ignored for too long. Black women—especially mature Black women—have been holding it together for everyone else. We've been managing the impossible with grace. And we've been doing it without tools designed for the way we actually move through the world.
Sinclairity Press is my commitment to changing that.
Our planners, journals, and workbooks aren't just pretty. They're designed with intention, cultural awareness, and the understanding that your journey includes challenges most mainstream wellness brands don't even acknowledge.
You deserve tools that see you. You deserve space to breathe. You deserve to figure out what's next without guilt, without pressure, and without pretending life is simpler than it is.
That's what I'm building here.
What's Coming Next
This is just the beginning.
Right now, Sinclairity Press offers the Clarity Planner (dated and undated editions, for women and men), the Essential Goal Planner, and the upcoming Seasons of You guided journal.
But I'm building more:

- A Self-care focused Clarity Framework planner
- A journal for Black men exploring grace and redefining masculinity
- A weekly Mindfulness planner
..and more to come
Every book I create comes from real life — mine or someone I love. And every book is designed to give you room to be exactly where you are.
